Owner was very nice,. Office manager was very helpful in setting up my taxi and excursion.

Overpriced and dishonest staff.
Posted 7 Jan 2019 on HotelsThe rooms are decent but definitely overpriced for what you get. Literally everything here from motorbike rental to laundry is more expensive this resort. Front desk woman is very dishonest and other travellers had the same issues with last minute overcharges. Best to avoid this place.

Michael F checked into our property 1/1/2019 for a stay of 4 nights.On the second day of his stay he asked to have his laundry done.This is a service provided by our cleaning staff for a fee of 250 pesos for 3 kilo, his laundry was 5 kilo and was given a price of 300 pesos. This service is made available as a courtesy and not something the property supplies but something performed by our cleaning staff.Michael immediately complained about the price which we view as fair but it is the guest choice to either use or seek such service elsewhere on the island.He then chose to have our cleaning staff do his laundry.Michael repeatedly complained about the price of the room and was informed our pricing is set and not negotiable.
During Michael's stay he took an island hopping tour with a friend who lives on the island. The tour, of which we have no involvement. Upon returning, the boat operator shows up at he property demanding to see Michael as Michael refused to pay his tour telling to boat operator his friend was in the military and should not have to pay for the boat ride.The boat operator threatened to bring the police to the property at which Michael paid. Upon check out Michael was presented a bill for motorbike rental and the laundry. He scratched off the total and changed the amount to 150 pesos for the laundry. All this does is reduce the amount the person who performed the service receives. As we did not want to create a legal problem for him a complaint with the police was not filed..
We try to accomodate our guest whenever we can but Michael wanted reduction in the price of everything and that is not possible for a small property such as ours.The person Michael dealt with at our property is both honest and dedicated to trying to give good service.It is unfortunate that Michael would assault and insult her character.
