Great room except view was a wall. Had everything we could need along w/icebox & stove. Shower was so small you had to turn sideways to get in! Food was expensive in dining area. $50 for nachos & a club sandwich. Nice stay but expensive

We arrived very late but the staff was so helpful, even walking us to our cabin.

Very misleading and inaccurate description
Posted 25 Jul 2020 on HotelsAfter reading the online description we booked a double room for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The description said menus were available on check in. On arrival we were told that the restaurant was full. We booked a double bed,only to find two singles pushed together. Reception staff were very apologetic and we were given an upgrade. We went out to search for somewhere to eat in the village before moving rooms. The new room was larger with a terrace. The outside of the windows were so dirty that we had to go outside to fully appreciate the view but only after forcing the door. The bed set up was the same so I went back to reception. I was told that there were No double beds in the Hotel. The receptionist did produce a bag of cable ties and suggest we could tie the bed legs together. This however would not hold the mattresses together. I’m sure that this experience will one day make an amusing anecdote although had I known this when we checked in we would have simply driven for another 3 hours and slept in our own bed. We did not stay around for breakfast in the morning.

Hytte for 10
Posted 9 Jan 2020 on HotelsWe booked a 10 person hytte/cabin over the NYE period. The cabin was a lovely log cabin with a fireplace. The amenities were basic, but we were comfortable. The rooms don't have space for luggages so that was the only frustration experienced.
Order fresh baked bread from reception for the mornings.
