"Inwas nicely welcomed and room was clean and big enough. Internet was working fine enough for Netflix. The only downside is thin wall and windows: a lot of noise both from street and corridors. Airport is about 10-15minutes by car. "

"Initially I was a little concerned booking this property because it had no reviews on Expedia, but I was traveling with a group if 5 and needed at least 4 bedrooms. This option was in the Downtown Cairo area and was priced great, as well as had the bedrooms we required - it's also HUGE. When I reached out to Salah, the owner of the property, he was more than accommodating and very responsive. This property is in a superb location. It was walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants, bank etc....

"We stayed at Golden Tulip as a family, they were welcoming and late check-in was not a problem. The room was clean and tidy but the beds were small for a family. Overall the stay was good, but the only down side is communication: 1st: The website stated that I don't have to pay until I am at the property and that I could cancel till the 30th of December, they called my number at night saying that I have to make a bank transfer in the morning otherwise my booking would be canceled, which is so...

"On arriving at the airport for our free hotel transfer we were advised they had moved us to a completely different hotel with no pool. On complaining, they moved us to another with a pool. We were told by the agent the hotel we booked had smelly rooms. This all created unnecessary stress and a large amount of distrust. Very poor experience for our first hour in Egypt. "

"Basics done well ! Clean property. Helpful and friendly front-desk staff. Well located within 6th October which itself is an huge township. Easy to get transportation in to Cairo city. You can opt for Uber or just ask the hotel to arrange for the 6th October townships own taxi service (same $ as the app taxis). Solid 4.5 stars if you’re looking for an affordable long term stay "

Accommodating staff and good facility

"Very accommodating staff. We arrived early and were given our rooms early and upgraded too. We requested late check out and there was no fuss about it. Restaurants and bar available inside the vicinity which served really good food. Thank you so much"

"What a wonderful place! As a woman traveling alone in Egypt, it was so important to me to feel safe, not to mention pampered while I was there. The staff was exceptional, fabulous entertainment, delicious food, and a very accommodating spa to enjoy as well. I would absolutely stay here again when I return to Egypt!"
