Staff was very friendly. Husnu was the best! Air conditioning would not lower due to temp outside being over 100 degrees. Castle was closed due to renovations. Cooper market was a cool experience.

Great location! Easy to explore Gaziantep on foot. Manager was extremely nice and helpful, made great suggestions, and helped us navigate parking (streets in old town are narrow). Gaziantep is doing a great job rebuilding after major earthquake damage. All the people are very friendly and welcoming to tourists. Highly recommend.

Excellent property in a historical building. The staff is very helpful. The property is located in the hearth of the city's historical center. It's very close to many shopping and dining options. Their breakfast is also very good offering many food options. I strongly recommend this hotel to visitors.

We loved Ziya the hotel dog :) He was friendly and sweet. The location is great for walking anywhere in the town.

Good people, no comfort. 2.5 stars stay
Posted 21 Sep 2022 on HotelsNice people however we had many challenges. Shower was a big issue. It was running either too cold or too hot. Bed covers were clean but there were many stains. Noice from the door bell kind of room service ring bothered us alot in the night. They put it in the frond yard and each time it rings sound surrounds the area. In the morning the smell of fried eggplant and other fried things were coming into the room so heavy that we could not continue sleeping and woke up with that smell. Pulling suitcases on the street was an other challenge due to stone floor streets. In short, people are nice but place lacks from comfort.

Good service but unclean
Posted 3 Feb 2022 on HotelsOur experience would have been much better if our room and the bathroon and shower were clean. We felt icky in there. Because of this we really felt uncomfortable. We have visited other hotels that were just as old (mansions) but they were done nicely, were clean, and renovated where needed. Other than that, the place is tricky to find so you may need to call them so they can direct you. Their front door is actually in the back alley instead of at the street but the good thing is that it is a neighbor to two good restaurants. However it is on a narrow one way street so when we missed it (because they dont have a front door or sign there), we had to go around the town at least 10 minutes to get back to the one way street to try again. You have to stop before the restaurant, go up the steep hill, park in the otopark (it is included in the hotel price) and then walk up and through the alley to get to the hotel. The hotel is in a good location near the castle and all the shops in the old town. We should mention that we came on a winter day with unusual levels of snow and rain so everyone was shoveling in front of their stores and traffic was a bit crazy.

3-Days stay in Gaziantep
Posted 3 Nov 2021 on HotelsStayed 3-nights during 22-25 Oct 2021, during pandemic period in this facility, which is originally some approx 300+ years old stone mansion, which was barely renovated for accomodation use. 1st floor rooms are spacious, whereas the ground floor rooms are comparably much smaller. Good service and friendly personnel. Clean and safe facility. Excellent location within close proximity to old city center and the market, within walking distance to a number of culinary spots (Yesemek, Imam Cagdas and superb Metanet Restaurants are few of must go places.) Zeugma Museum, Belkıs-Zeugma site near Birecik, Gulbaba Restaurant by the river Euphrates in Birecik are among must visit spots. Hotel provides free-secure parking space located within 30m from facility.
