The room I was given had no functional heating, and was as cold as the outside air temperature (close to 0 degrees in January). When I requested another room (close to midnight as I had checked in at 11pm and waited almost an hour for the heating to warm up, which it never did), I was told by staff there were no other rooms available. As this room was not in working condition, the hotel should not have allowed for this room to be booked. I can’t believe Hampton by Hilton would allow any guest to stay in a room that did not have working heating in the middle of winter. I was forced to walk through Gatwick airport and arrange alternative accommodation on my own after midnight when I had an early flight in the morning. Absolutely unacceptable from Hampton by Hilton.

Faultless stay at excellent hotel

Only seemed to be a pizza available as a vegetarian meal in the evening which was a little disappointing. Otherwise very convenient hotel for the airport.
Buffet breakfast not bad, as you would expect but plenty of vegetarian options including various non dairy milks which was a bonus.

Hampton is conveniently located, with its own connection to Gatwick Airport’s check-in counters. Breakfast was brilliant too with enough options. Staffs are accommodating and responsive. However, at night, it’s easy to hear footsteps from the above room from our room although thankfully it did not last whole evening and we had a restful quiet sleep.

Absolutely perfect airport hotel. Clean, quiet and very friendly staff. Rooms are a decent size too. Excellent value for money.
