Eclectic hotel around the corner from royal palace. Many great restaurants, souvenir shops, antique stores in this historic area

We really enjoyed the hotel location in Gamla Stan. With only a couple of days in Stockholm it was a short walk from the train station and provided easy access to many of the highlights in Stockholm including next door to the Royal Palace.

The staff were excellent . Hotel is quite cluttered with antiques - not really our style but it was a great location and breakfast was good too.

For an antique lover this hotel is amazing. Not only lots of prints, carvings and memorabilia relating to Lady Hamilton but other antique pieces all over the building even in the bathroom. There are antiques shops opposite, next door and others a short walk away. Nice touch having tea and coffee available for free in the lobby. Only criticism is that the shower could be improved.

Each room and hallway is lined with antiques, like a museum. Charm is off the charts, as is the location. Breakfast was very good. Staff was extremely helpful.
