Value for the price

It has so much potential to be great! The hotel was very fun down, But it’s the value for the price. Staff was friendly and we had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Place is a little run down but nice location. Access to the beach across the road was the best part of the trip. Staff could barely speak English and had to call a translator to finish our stay. They were very nice people and the rooms were nice, just a little dirty.

Great location and clean.

The price was great. If you’re looking for fancy it is not for you. If you’re looking for clean awesome location that won’t break the bank check it out. We plan to stay there on our next trip back.

Great location. Close to the water. Great friendly staff. Room 10 is a GREAT room...open well lit. Clean. Room 10 should be better marked so easier to find.

Economic place to stay on the Island

4th of July trip. Had to get the remote from front desk. Staff was fun and friendly. Room was cold...yay. Shower was hot and bed was VERY comfortable.. Thats all I care about. Applian es were not plugged in so put food in it but next day only my ice packed kept it edible. I share fault in that. Will stay again.

The price was right. However, the saying is true that you get what you pay for. Parking was no problem and you can see the beach from the window. After the noise stopped around midnight (sounded like furniture was being moved) but we never looked. We fell asleep. Actually got a good night sleep. A/C worked very well. The main thing is it’s not kept up. Things that get broken just stay that way, I guess. No towel or toilet paper bars, bathroom door knob was very loose and just needed tightened, cabinet under the sink had water damage so was screwed shut, soap holder in shower was broken. Sheets and floors were clean and we were very thankful for that!

I really dont like the $100 "security deposit" that takes 5-7 business days to be returned. Other than that, location is great, room amelt like chlorine but i guess that's better than smelling dirty.

This is a very old building. The owners have done some renovations. It's not perfect but it's decent and has a little charm to it. The a/c was cold and the bed was decent. It's close to the beach and our room had a view of the beach. The people who ran it were nice. There's a restaurant pretty close that we walked to. Overall it was a nice one night getaway.

Bed bugs, dirty sheets, the smell of mildew and terrible wifi. We were not expecting fancy, but what we found was just gross. It's obviously an older building, but absolutely no effort was put into keeping things fresh. The towels they gave us had yellow stains and the white sheets had yellow stains. I even found a couple of bed bugs. I don't usually write reviews but this made me compelled. The price is high so you would expect a little better, but no, I do not recommend anyone staying here, the building should be condemned and started anew. That being said, the location is nice and close to the beach.

Pros: Close to Porretto Beach, Seawall, Dinning, and bars. All within Walking distance… Staff seemed friendly. View of Porretto beach from the window. Cons: This is a very old property. Rooms are second floor or third floor without an elevator. So if you have heavy suit cases or coolers you have to walk it up with force. Stairs are very narrow and you have to proceed with caution. It is evident that the property received damage from a previous Hurricane. Remodeling is noticed but they could have done a better job in my opinion. The room was really small especially the restroom. Only one person fits in the shower. TV is an old 32inch Samsung and is driven by a fire stick. TV stays on the wrong output so when you turn it on it does not work. You have to manually touch the tv output with your finger and change it to HDMI. Room Light was out and they fixed the second day. The overall construction of the room is poor. AC faces the restroom. No house cleaning what so ever. Sand paper towels and limited toilet paper. Did not try the breakfast. Parking is shared with other tenants and customers from other bars and properties, so it was hard to find a parking spot. A lady came banging on our door at 10:30am which is not check out time. That was annoying.

If it wasn't for the ocean view I would have asked for a refund. The room was very dirty, toilet, bathroom and floors. Beds and towels were clean. Staff was nice. For 100$ I was very disappointed to have to clean it up! They need better housekeeping!
