As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe here. Also the breakfast buffet is a nice touch, and it’s just far enough away from the noisier areas. Easy walk across the street to the beach, and a great beachfront diner just a few steps down.

Property was quiet, clean and had plenty of parking around back. The included breakfast was great.Would stay again next time we are in Galveston.

Our room had an amaziew view. The hotel was nice and clean...

The hotel was pretty old and therefore needed a lot of upgrades to make it nicer. The shower had grime and slime along the bottom of the shower door, the bathroom sink overflow drainage had mold growing in it with other people's hair in it, the room floors were dirty as your bare feet were soiled after walking on the floor, and there was a very strange odor to the building (chemical smell?). The WiFi system was pitiful and other guests staying there told me the same thing when I asked them if they had problems with the system. I would not stay here again. It just was not a pleasant experience. Just telling it like it is.
On a positive note, the front desk employees were very polite and did their best to resolve the WiFi issues.
