Overall, it was fine. It served it's purpose and I stayed using points on a travel CC, so I'm not fussed. However, for the rate they charge normally, I would have expected more. Items of note needing attention: -Light switch at the door is inoperable; -Shower head was not installed properly (loose and leaked badly, I had to re-install/tighten it myself); -Toilet leaks and runs to refill itself all night; -Shower runs red/dirty when you first turn it on; -Curtains in the room needed to be rehung and pinned as they fell off the hooks; -Door lock jammed and stuck (felt as if it was broken, and repaired incorrectly); -Room smelled like roach/insect spray, like it was just serviced 10 minutes before I arrived. Are these deal-breakers for a night's stay? No. Irritating they were all issues in the same room at the same time? Very. I was up and gone before staff was even in the Lobby. Speaking of which, the sculptures they have (huge and impressive works in steel and iron) in the lobby are great, and very expensive, starting at US$27K!! If this is the clientele you are trying to market to, and expecting to stay here, you have to get your house in order. Otherwise, it looks like an extreme misuse of funds and poor customer focus. Do better, HoJo... 6.9/10 stars only. I can recommend if you don't mind the sketchy details and don't expect too much. ---J

Huge hotel without a lot of guests. The atrium seems huge. Some aspects seem a little dated, but there's nothing wrong with it and they are updating it. Just a lot of competition in an area that seems to have a lot of hotels for it's size. It was a great bargain.
