Valued place to stay
Posted 8 Mar 2020 on HotelsIn the old Galle. Very good location for strolling around the old Galle. Hotel is clean and comfort. Staff are friendly. I can recommend the hotel.

Modern hotel and helpful staff
Posted 17 Feb 2020 on HotelsModern hotel, my room had a nice big bathroom and a tv. I had issues with the WiFi so connected in the lobby (on large comfy sofas!) while they sorted it.

It is a small boutique style hotel in Galle fort. Staff is very friendly and helpful with your needs. Breakfast both local and continental is OK. There is a great restaurant in front of the hotel.

Cracking guest house with unbelievably friendly staff. Undoubtedly you will pay a lot more more and receive an inferior service for higher star rated accommodation in Sri Lanka . Rooms clean and tidied every day . The breakfast was not extravagant but more than adequate , fruit , toast , tea and eggs although the Sri Lankan breakfast was ace , but you do have to ask. As for the staff they can get you anything you need , from Tuk Tuks to the best exchange rate .

Cozy and Relaxed

Pros: It's cleanliness and friendly staff.
Cons: The circular staircase to the upstairs bedroom should possibly have another railing. At the moment the railing is only one side of the staircase,
Location: Central location
Great little hotel within the walls of Galle Fort. Close enough to walk to all the main sites, but a block or so away from the busier streets, which is good because it is a little quieter. Very clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. Only stayed one night, but would have stayed longer had my itinerary permitted. Cozy and relaxed.

Shady and dishonest Behaviour
Posted 3 Mar 2018 on HotelsThis guesthouse was nice, well located. However, upon arrival (at 6pm) the hotel offered us an upgrade on our room for USD10 - we had booked a standard room with a shared bathroom and they offered us a room with a private bathroom for this amount. We are backpackers and only staying one night so we declined and were told to wait then another man came out and offered the upgrade again to which we declined again. They told us to sit and wait for 10minutes, the same man thrn came back and acted like they were doing us a massive favour by upgrading us for free to a room with a private bathroom. He then explained the room we had booked was unavailable due to construction, so it was actually their fault that they couldn't put us in the original room. Basically, they had no choice but to put us in the better room and tried to take advantage by trying to see would we pay for it first. Really really bad form, it was their fault they did not have the lower room available and it should have just been given to us at their own cost. So dishonest!!

Only wifi in hotel reception to harass
