"We loved our stay at Arabella. Loved the simplicity and size of the rooms. Kept very clean and tidy by the staff. Cute offering of bananas for supper in the room with the turn down service. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Pool area was on the small size but we had no problem using it when we wanted to. Kitchen and kitchen staff were A . is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle. On the positive side, the location on Church St was excellent, the AC and fan both worked, there was a small fridge, and there was a pleasant balcony with chairs. The...

"The villa is located right in the center of Galle fort. It was more than wonderful to stay here for 2 nights. I booked a standard room for my first night and superior room for my second night out of credit card balance concern, and the hotel upgraded my first night for free. Fortaleza runs 9 properties, and 50 lighthouse street is a villa with 3 rooms only. I was the only guest during my stay and i enjoyed the whole receiving hall and dining room."
