Incredible house reef and resort

Everything at the resort surpassed our expectation. We stayed in one of the over-water sunrise rooms and snorkeled off our back deck 3 times per day. Massive schools of fish, nurse sharks, sting rays all within 30 feet of our room. We also took a separate snorkel trip to a nearby island which was also spectacular. The room, bathroom and the completely-private-deck were all huge. We also checked out the other beachside rooms which also looked great. Meals and service in the main restaurant and the two specialty restaurants were fantastic. The general manager meets each arrival group and also stopped by to talk/check in periodically during our stay. Don't be put off by the need to take a sea plane to reach the resort. While it's an added cost, it was a great part of the overall experience - flying over the many atolls on the trip in and out was gorgeous and added an adventure/remoteness element. The beach cruiser bikes that come with each room also added to the fun. Lastly we thought the staff was terrific. Just the right mix of providing all the attention needed without being intrusive. We felt very fortunate to have chosen the Fairmont.

I didn’t like that they increased the time by an hour on the island

The hotel services are bad, and I told them to add my membership but they did not do so.
