Dear Hotels.com Customer Support,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent booking at Domaine Rampale from May 24th to May 27th, 2024, and to request a refund or compensation for the numerous issues encountered during our stay. Additionally, I would like to address an issue regarding the redemption of my credit for a previous booking.
Issues with Domaine Rampale Stay
Lack of Communication: Despite booking weeks in advance, I never received any check-in instructions or reminders through the app or email. I attempted to contact the number listed on the website multiple times to arrange an early check-in at 10 am but received no response for days.
No Front Desk or Reception: Assuming there would be a front desk, as advertised, we arrived at the property hoping to drop our bags and connect to the internet for an important work call. The intercom button was dead, and repeated calls went unanswered. With no 5G data, we had to drive to find reception, causing significant inconvenience as my partner had to conduct video conferences from our hire car in the countryside.
Delayed Access: Finally, after several attempts, we reached someone who mentioned that a private email with the gate code was sent, which I never received. The representative blamed Expedia for the lost email, but I never used Expedia for this booking. We eventually received the code at 3 pm, far too late for our needs, and struggled to find our accommodation

Good morning,I will come back to you, following the comment you left us. I'm sorry to read what you wrote.First of all, please know that customer satisfaction is our top priority. So I would like to clarify something that seems important to me.First of all, I tried to contact you several times, regarding your arrival at the Domaine but you communicated about your reservation, made via expedia, a number which was not allocated. Indeed, our Domaine does not have a reception, and access to the accommodation is via a key box. However even though we do not have a reception we are always contactable and available if you need anything.Moreover, regarding your arrival at the Domaine, it was mentioned to you when you made your reservation that check-in was at 4 p.m. and at no time did we receive a message from you regarding an early check-in. When you arrived at the Domaine, I also gave you access to your lodge at 3 p.m. despite your advance, in order to accommodate you.Finally, regarding wifi, the network is actually not optimal at the level of a 5G connection, you still benefit from wifi access with a good connection.Please know that we are really saddened to read a comment like yours, when during your stay or upon your departure you did not tell us anything.Rest assured that the smooth running of our guests' stay is our priority. Posted 18 Nov 2017 on HotelsDon't let the dirt road at the end put you off , this peaceful and very modern B&B / chambre d'hôtes is the perfect get away . Everything is clean and professional and of excellent quality , including the breakfast . Definitely recommend .

Posted 13 Sep 2017Simply a perfect stay here. Understated elegance, quiet, gracious hosts, amazing property and all the amenities one would expect from a five star hotel! Only downside was we should have stayed more than one night! We look forward to a return visit. Merci beaucoup!

Super nice get away
Posted 19 Nov 2016Getting there was a wonderful adventure, you get a chance to escape the city and explore the mountains. The place is secured by a gate to the enter the property for which you'll need a code to get in. From the moment you enter the code you start feeling "exclusive" and the modern facility surrounded by well taken care of gardens and patios makes you feel safe, relaxed and prepares you for a pleasent surprise when you enter the facility. The rooms are super modern, very VIP, top of the line everything. We loved it. Breakfast was very nice, complete selection of breads, spreads, cheese, fruit and more and David made sure we where satisfied.

Posted 2 Oct 2016 on HotelsBeautiful modern design and everything from the sheets on the wonderful bed to the coffee, juice, cheeses and jams served at breakfast of the very highest quality. Friendly unobtrusive service and great honesty bar choices . One of the very best stays we have ever had!
