Amazing stay!
Posted 3 Sep 2022 on HotelsChecking was a breeze with host giving valuable advice on where to eat. Rooms were very clean. Atmosphere and location was perfect for getting away from the busy cities. Plenty of options for breakfast! Would love to come back in the future!

Lovely people! I've been received as a family member! Comfy room and tasty food. It's a must if you come to Portugal. Our language barrier didnt matters.

Fabulous Week
Posted 23 Aug 2016
Pros: Just everything.
Cons: I could have longer stays.
Location: Mountain walks in the Serra da Gardunha, The local reservoir ( barragem) for swimming and sunbathing, Monsanto village and Belmonte.
The hotel is beautifully presented and cared for by a lovely family. The food was fabulous all week. I am a single man and so often it's difficult to fill time in the evenings but the family made me so welcome I reluctantly left their company at bed times. Language was no barrier as Julia Fernandes speaks very good english and I did what I could in portuguese and french to fill any gaps. I will go back time and time again.

Quiet, comfortable retreat
Posted 21 Aug 2016
Pros: The hosts, Júlia and her mother, the rural setting, the décor, the delicious fruits and juices, the modern, spacious, comfortable room and bathroom
Location: The hotel is a 2-minute drive from the village of Capinha. It's an ideal location to explore some most enchanting historic villages of Portugal
Quinta Ponte da Capinha is a cosy hotel in a rural setting that is a perfect base from which to visit a number of charming historical Portuguese villages. Host and owner Júlia and her mother are solicitous hosts eager to please and to inform with a view to making our stay a delightful experience. From the interesting story about the transformation of this generations-old family farm house into a 7-room B&B hotel, to restaurant recommendations to details about local points of interest and delicacies, Júlia was instrumental in our enjoyment of our visit to this region of Portugal. The unique décor, blending traditional Portuguese artifacts with modern settings and amenities, was extremely pleasant. We highly recommend Quinta Ponte da Capinha to anyone looking for accommodations in this part of Portugal.

Séjour remarquable !
Posted 21 Feb 2016 on HotelsAccueil exceptionnel. Les propriétaires ont le souci permanent de votre bien-être tout en restant discrets. Les petit-déjeuners et les repas du soir étaient de très bonnes qualités. Les horaires de ces derniers ont toujours été modulables. Je conseille sans hésitation !
