The hotel is in a great location. We had an amazing view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi from our room. The view was the best part about our stay. And the price per night was very reasonable, considering our view and the hotel amenities, which includes a public onsen, massage chairs, restaurant, souvenir shop, etc. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit outdated. But I really enjoyed my stay here with my husband for my birthday. The room was spacious with a sitting area to enjoy the view.

Perfect location
Posted 25 Mar 2021 on HotelsThe view was incredible from the room, furniture and carpet is a bit out dated and the hotel didn’t have enough amenities (cotton buds, shower cap etc). There was a buffet dinner and breakfast which was great, overall would love to stay here again because the view made the stay amazing!!

Very good crew. Good hotel.
Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic, some places around were closed.

Decent Stay
Posted 29 Feb 2020 on HotelsOverall, the stay here was ok. The front desk service was rather difficult and stand-off-ish, not really welcoming at all. HOWEVER, the food service was great so that balanced out. The hotel was not the most luxurious ever, but decent enough and clean. Great view of the lake and Mt. Fuji though!

The hotel has an excellent view of Mt Fuji and is near several attractions. The staff were very hospitable and were quick to attend to our meal request. Thank you.

Not luxury experience but everything is fine
Posted 26 Dec 2019 on HotelsThis hotel serves tour groups so that it does not feel as deluxe as other hotels nearby. In particular, the buffet breakfast and dinner are more of "tour group type" instead of those you would expect from a traditional Japanese onsen hotel. But everything else was good - efficient staff, clean room, sufficient in hotel onsen. I guess non-group guests go to 6th floor where there are balconies - facing Mt Fuji - a big plus. All in all, good value for money.

I loved that it came with a buffet dinner and breakfast. Hotel was okay for what we needed which was a place to sleep so it fulfilled my wife and I’s needs in this way.
If you go in expecting a 5 star hotel you’ll feel ripped off and annoyed, but we found the staff to be awesome and the facilities to be adequate.
When you consider the buffet dinner, breakfast and access to the Onsen, it’s pretty good value.
