This was a motel, not a hotel. It never claimed to be a hotel but I just assumed based on the price that if I’m paying $250 a night that it’s at least hotel quality. When I go back and look at the pictures posted, I now notice that there are no pictures of the outside of the motel. There is just one picture with the swimming pool where you can zoom back and see what it looks like. The room was clean enough with the exception of the fact that we were only given two towels, one of which was stained. The TV remote was inconsistent and when we went to ask for new batteries, we were told that we didn’t know how to use a remote.

First off, the night attendant, while not rude, wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. Then, we get to our room and as soon as I open the door, a roach takes off across the floor. I killed it and threw it in the trash can. Strike one, but hey, critters are critters and you can’t always control all of them, I get it. Then, go over to the bathroom area and there are random pieces of hair on the counter. Ok, maybe it’s a little dirtier than it should be. Strike two. Finally, I poured the remainder of a cup of coffee in the sink and it wouldn’t drain one bit. Strike three. There was no way I was going to be comfortable asking my pregnant wife and our 5 year old to sleep in such a room. So I went back to the night host to see about getting a refund and we would go to a different hotel and he stated that he would have to wait until the morning to go see if my allegations were legit. So dirty facilities plus poor maintenance and on top of that, horrible customer service, means that I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

The pool was nice and clean. The bed and sheets were nice and clean. Nothing else was clean. Hair on the floor. Shower was dirty. TV did not work at all.

This place was super dirty. It's an older property and I could tell that from the pics online. I figured that's fine, that's why it's cheaper. But it was filthy. The carpet was nasty. Stains everywhere. The bathroom was the worst. We took showers that night and there was soap scum all over the bottom of the bathtub. It was gross. Blood stains on one of my pillow cases. I will say, there were no bugs that I found. And I looked. I even pulled back the mattress topper and felt safe enough to sleep there so we stayed. But I wasn't walking across that floor without my shoes on.Someone did try to walk in our room at 4:45 that morning, but I think they just misjudged which door was theirs. I had used the deadbolt (this is a motel type facility with outside entrances), but it still made me nervous that the doorjam was so old. There are also no outlets to be found anywhere. I had to plug everything in by the bathroom on a little desk there to charge my phone, watch, etc.. There were people at the pool and driving by it looked clean and well taken care of. Breakfast isn't out until 8 so we were unable to take advantage of that as we had to be on the road at 7:30. This facility really needs a good cleaning and a renovation where the cleaning won't help. The staff was friendly.
