Standard stay in a nice spot
Posted 26 Feb 2024 on HotelsNice location, but a standard hotel. Breakfast ok, Decent pool. Staff accommodating with some less knowledgeable than others. Generous check out time. Most necessaries within walking distance.
Don’t miss the Anglo factory tour… very interesting!

Laundry problem.
Posted 20 Aug 2022 on HotelsThe stay was OK, but I sent a shirt to laundry that was supposed to return the next morning. But the shirt did not come back and, and I had to leave without my shirt. I did not like it.

We spent one night in Fray Bentos at this hotel. Location is nice, across from the water, but the park is somewhat run down, lots of litter -- shame. The hotel was dated but clean, offered an adequate breakfast of the usual fare (breads, ham, cheese, etc). The desk clerk who checked us in was our biggest disappointment. No greeting when we approached the desk and handed her our reservation, didn't tell us where breakfast was, absolutely no interaction -- just did the bare minimum to check us in, completely disinterested to the point of being rude.
