Family friendly Hotels in Franskraal, Western Cape

"Whale Rock Lodge is a lovely place. Very much a home away from home. Staff welcoming and efficient. We had a room in The Villa; a separate building to main house with it's own entrance and car park but only 30 steps to main building. The room and bathroom were large with fridge & tea/coffee making facilities. Good sized balcony with comfortable seating. The 2 pools - larger at main house and one at villa had plenty of sunbeams and other seating. Pleasant sitting rooms in both buildings. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast or buffet style continental. Cliff walk into town takes approx 40 minutes but too far out of town to walk for dinner. No Ubers and only a limited number of taxis in Hermanus."
