Don't really know where all those good reviews come from. The 'free' parking is actually street parking, at your own risk and IF you can find any. Staff is gone by 6 pm and I had a tweaker next door talking to ghosts all night long till 3 am (and LOUD) plus a nice trio of working girls coming 'home' at 3:01 picking up right after the tweaker left. Mattress as soft as a rock. Check in was decent. Room borderline clean.

Great value for the price I paid, safe , easy walkable area. Only complaint would be not always someone at front desk so you have to call for a code to get in , which may be hard if you just arrived internationaly and don’t have a phone plan setup yet.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience however there are a few things which could be improved. The beds were really comfortable and the room was tidy and quiet. However, there weren't many electrical sockets around the bed which makes it even difficult to have your cell phone around you. Make sure you have at least one socket for charging the phone for example or maybe give the guests an extension cord. Secondly, there is no one to attend at the reception desk. As a work around maybe use a bell so that the guests can ring it if they need something. It was quite weird that I had to check out of the hotel by just leaving the keys on the table.

We booked 2 rooms. The rooms we were given were in the basement (lower ground floor). One of the room had a strong unpleasant smell and we were forced to share one room. Expedia, after discussing the situation with the owner/manager Mr Shani, have written, promising a part refund for the room we were not able to use but now weeks after, have reneged and offered no payment. This is most disappointing especially in light of the inconvenience and the dishonesty.
