Questionable “luxury” resort
Posted 28 Mar 2024 on HotelsFirst, on the day we arrived, that night we had to change rooms because the bath tub was leaking water all over the bathroom floor. Also, the toilet lid was broken, the air conditioning had a loud noise and wasn’t cooling property.
On the second room, the same happened with the air conditioning. The hotel was poorly staffed and several times, the excuse was: “right now, we have no concierge or hostess or bellboy”. Also I speak for languages fluently (spanish, english, italian and french) and many times we had to wait for the staff to find someone that spoke one of those languages.
The last night, we had to go to bed without having dinner because we ordered room service and they said that food would arrive in 15mins. One hour passed and I called to see the status of our order and the person said that he couldn’t comply with out order because he couldn’t prepare the food because the kitchen was getting maintenance. If I hadn’t called no one would have let us know.
It was a time to relax and enjoy as a couple in a luxury resort but it felt more like a resort that is about to close or go bankrupt. So sad to see such a beautiful place give their clients that poor customer service.

Wonderful hotel with all amenities. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with large decks and comfortable seating. Excellent staff and service as well.

What a one-of-a-kind experience. The venue is great, but what makes the place real special is the friendly, highly-efficient and trained staff who makes every guest feel unique and at home. I was specially pampered since the very moment I arrived until the last good-bye. Treated like a king.
