"The view is great! The distance to the Beech Mtn skiing is super. The room was comfortable and spacious. Bathroom could use modernization, but everything worked great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy in my Range Rover, and I'd suggest an SUV because of the icy conditions"

"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. "Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. "

"The ONLY complaint I would have and was a surprise to us was that you unload your car and then park your vehicle back down the hill and then have to take a shuttle back to your car. You can’t just walk out and get in your car. The shuttle was quick don’t get me wrong but it was a little bit of a hassle. "The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our cabin was cozy and inviting. Our only comfort complaint was the pillows (very flat!) and mattress (a bit hard!). But the views were gorgeous, the horses and goats loved visitors and dinner at the Inn was a treat. Make sure to grab a cocktail at the on-site cocktail bar! We will surely visit again!"

"Not fancy, but nice enough. Appliances are old, but work. Parking was our only issue. Not sure where three cars can fit, as the ad says. 4-wheel drive vehicle is a must to get out the main entrance. We only had 2-wheel drive vehicles and had to go out the longer back way every time we left. Road gets plowed after snow, but no salt or dirt added, so still pretty slippery. It was too cold to use any of the outdoor amenities, but it was warm and cozy inside."
