Beautiful place to escape. All instructions were very clear to provide an easy space to stay in.

Great Summer Vaycay, Needs Heat for Winter
Posted 5 Aug 2024 on HotelsI stayed at the Colonia Blue tiny house. To originate you to the photos the bathing is a separate hut.
The positive: the bath was all I expected and more.
The negative: Currently Colonia blue does not have heating which may not be an issue as a couple on a get away, however I found it too cold for a winter stay.
One of the huts has a wood burner, just unfortunately no this one. Owners are planning on putting gas heating in, but if you plan to stay in cooler months please check before you book. Owners were easy to deal with when I expressed my concerns and I was satisfied with their solution.
I would stay again, but over warmer Tassy months. Really loved that bath!

This is such a hidden gem and a peaceful stay. This was a perfect solo trip but would be great for 2 people. This is a tiny home but with the must magical surroundings. The views are incredible and lots of wood and supplies for a perfect stay. There is a portable cook top I believe but I loved getting dinner locally & sitting outside. It’s a clever set up with such attention to detail and sustainable. I will be back, it showcases Tasmania & the outdoors.

The "experience" of staying in a tiny house was great, however it's not very practical and kind of like sleeping in a caravan. One person has to climb oved the other just to get in and out of bed. If you want to eat at a table, you have to sit outside. There is nowhere to put any bags or luggage. There is not much room in the bathroom either. We feel it is very overpriced for what you get, that is why we only give it 3 stars.

Hi Davinia, thanks for your review. This feedback is really important to us. Our Tiny House is 'tiny' and Tiny Homes are very much caravans. However, we have some exciting plans to adapt the experience very soon, as we would also love to have more room, when we have the means, so we can continually improve the experience. We thank you for staying and your support and wish you all the best for your onward travels.
