It was an easy check in and could park right outside my room.

The room was clean as was bathroom.
Bathroom floor tiles are extremely slippery. The liquid body wash and shampoo containers were either broke or empty. 11pm wasn’t going to call or walk to office. Luckily I had my own.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The shower was very weak and there were only 2 towels and one washcloth provided for 2 people plus washcloth looked terrible. The air conditioner unit was very loud which made it hard to hear the television. There were thumbtack nails exposed on the threshold going into bathroom.

Older property., but room was very clean [my top priority]. The only issue I had was they mounted a power strip on the wall next to the bed and the power strip was plugged into an extension cord to reach the electrical outlet below the headboard.

Tv wasn't working...it took a long time before room cool down...curtains too long & block the AC...ice machine not working...very different from 2 prior times staying there.

A Good accommodation for the money, no frills.
About 12 yrs ago, when a complete renovation was underway at the Deluxe Inn, I gave my stay 5-Stars.
Recently I was traveling on I-10 and needed to stay in Ft. Stockton so I thought I would stay at the Deluxe Inn again. The staff were welcoming and parking was outside my door. The good size room had two double beds, refrigerator and microwave. Both the room, bathroom, towels and linens were clean. But everything since my first stay was showing its age. But, for the rate, it is a good accommodation for a good night’s sleep. Yes, I would return.
