Staff was friendly and helpful. The kids liked the waffles in the morning. Having Walmart next door came in handy

I had only issue i had packages delivered to me andnit wasnt until i checked out that i was informed that eaxh package was $10 each.

I visited Sleep Inn hotel in Dania Beach Florida on November 7th-13th. My friend and I traveled a long distance from Chicago and were quite disappointed. Firstly, the room key that I received did not work. Secondly, I had to request a different room because of the pungent mildew odor. The room that I switched to had the same odor but not as bad. The workout room also wreaked of mildew odor. Thirdly, my second room rental was not registered in your system so my reservation had to be modified. Fourthly, my bed sheets and towels were dingy and had red blotches on them. My room could not be cleaned upon request. I was told by the front desk that it is cleaned every 3 days. The cleaning staff were extremely lazy. We requested new linen and cleaning and they responded with sighs as if they did not want to help. One custodian was vacuuming and walked right past a pile of debris and when the debris was pointed out to him, he ignored it. This hotel needs an inspection asap from the health department. This hotel is a subsidiary of Choice Hotels. I submitted a complaint via online and the response was that they could not process my complaint thru their system. Corporate headquarters in New Zealand? Just terrible from all aspects.
