The only negative for this property was - our entire reason for staying here was based on it being a Historic Hotel. However upon check-in, we learned that we were not staying in the main (historic) hotel, but a side property across the road. Had the booking information made a clear distinction, we would have opted to pay a few dollars more - for the (historic) experience.

This hotel has a classic feel; rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We didn’t get to try the restaurant but it looked good.

Definitely a historical hotel but could use some normal updates. Bathroom cleanliness was very questionable

We chose the Limpia because it was centrally located for our 3-day plan and that worked out. I expected more based on the price paid. Bed linens were clean, but cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. The rooms and furnishings were worn. We had hoped to dine in room for simple meals (breakfast), but there were insufficient dishes or utensils for the four of us. The pool was nice, but no pool towels were available in the room or at the pool. The first morning there was a coffee setup for one person.
