Heritage on the Hill traces 500 years of change in the city, as shown through events here. The flora and fauna living in the park are explored on the Trees of the Fort tour, while Fort Canning Spice Trail looks closely at the fascinating variety to be found in the spice garden. Visit the ASEAN Sculpture Garden and relax in the peace of the park.Follow the 19th century walking trail to see the residence of the Malay kings, along with the archaeological remains of the fortress built on the site of the park in the 1800s. This trail will also bring you to the grave of Keramat Iskander Syah, a Malay monarch.Cannons and a gunpowder store have been preserved here from the days of the British Empire, as well as more colonial exhibits, in the form of the officers' quarters and the cottage of Sir Stanford Raffles.
