Beautiful view, convenient location
Posted 7 Jun 2015 on HotelsThe hotel was renovated in the last year or so. Our room---especially the bathroom---seemed brand new. The room and public areas were spotlessly clean.
The staff is wonderful: helpful and warm. The view of Sant'Angelo is perfect.
It's quite convenient, too: right on the main street to Sant'Angelo, so public transportation is right there.
Our only complaint was that the shower is quite small.

Singles not welcome?
Posted 6 Sep 2012 on HotelsOn arrival no one offered to help with the luggage. The room was small with a single bed. It was furnished with Ikea type cheap furniture, all the handles were broken on the drawers and closets.No view. Necessary to keep the shutters closed as otherwise people could see into the room.The air conditioning was not working and it was around 90F degrees.They did manage to fix it after two days.The waiter in the breakfast room was obnoxious and wouldn't allow guests to sit in the attractive sunny room overlooking the terrace, apparently this was reserved for italian guests or he explained the tables were set for lunch.I really didn't see why they wouldn't let people sit in the more cheerful room, after all they had to change the settings several times at the tables in the other room.The breakfast room with the buffet was dark and the curtain behind the buffet was dirty. They didn't serve any fresh fruit although the island has exceptional and cheap fruit, instead they served canned fruit salad.I hated going to breakfast and got it over with as soon as possible.As for the room,frankly, I felt that I was given the worst room in the hotel, as I saw others that were much nicer with beautiful views.I don't know if it was because I was a single woman or because of the Hotel.com rate. But actually the rate was higher than other nicer hotels in the area, so I just figure it was my single status.

Excellent value for money

Pros: Fantastic position, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable rooms, lovely relaxing pool terrace and great food
Location: Located in the most picturesque, relaxing zone of the island very close to the adorable town and beach of S. Angelo/Maronti with excellent bus service
This is a lovely hotel in a marvellous position with a stunning view of the area of Sant'Angelo. Definitely the best part of the island. The rooms are fairly simple but functional and clean with fantastic air conditioning and a fairly spacious bathroom. The pool is small but clean and beautifully positioned with a sea view. The " mezza pensione " in the restaurant is only €10 - and for that price what you get is amazing! A four course meal with a choice for each course with lots of local fish. Not near a beach BUT the bus stop is right outside and we never waited more than 10 minutes for a very efficient service that serves the whole island. There is a great little mini-market 50 metres from the hotel where you can buy anything you need - including sandwiches for lunch made while you wait. The staff are efficient and friendly and the general atmosphere is relaxed. For a 3 star hotel, considering the very low price, it really is excellent!

Pros: la tranquillità.
Cons: la ristorazione.
Location: La posizione dell'hotel è in collina e, quindi, anche nei giorni di calura si stava bene. Con l'aria condizionata in camera, poi, si stava benissimo.
grazioso albergo con fermata automezzi pubblici proprio fuori dall'albergo per raggiungere le spiagge più belle dell'isola in pochi minuti.

Pros: la location, il panorama da dieci e lode, la gentilezza del personale, ha superato le mie aspettative
Location: la posizione dell'hotel è strategica in pochi minuti si raggiunge il caratteristico borgo di Sant'Angelo
buon hotel con piscina termale e il mare a pochi passi.. Panorama stupendo su Sant'Angelo, buona colazione, staff cordiale e disponibile. Pulizia eccellente. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tornero' volentieri
