Comfortable rooms at a fabulous old chateau, made extra special by the charming attentive host. Nothing was too much trouble, and her advice on what to see and do was spot on. Breakfast was superb. Highly recommended for a stay in Normandy.

Special place to stay. Beautiiful gardens. We had a lovely breakfast and chat with Francoise the owner who was so hospitable. If ever I am in the region again I will definitely stay here. Lovely memory

This is such a beautiful chateau. It is very dramatic, from the tree-lined entrance to the tall towers and stunning gardens. We stayed in the family rooms, which were very convenient for a family of 4 and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious (and so much food - our children were particularly delighted with it!). While we had booked a night as a convenient place to pause on our way back to Cherbourg, this beautiful B&B ensured it felt like a continuation of our holiday, rather than just an overnight stop on the way home.

The owner was very welcoming and greeted us as soon as we drove up to the front door. She fixed us a very french breakfast including homemade crepes. Delicious.
The room was lovely and she even had real flax linen bed sheets…heavenly!

This is a magical place. The chateau and grounds were just beautiful. The host is warm and friendly. Breakfast was great!

Posted 26 Apr 2024 on HotelsNot amazing but okay. You pay for a room and that’s what we got. Chose not to eat breakfast so pretty much no contact with anyone. Very scenic but air smelled at time like manure. Maybe fertilizing? Overall it was fine and there for location that fit our plans and the free parking. Our room was not at the chateau but old animal stall building turned into rooms. Toilet extremely loud.

Merci de votre commentaire et d'avoir séjourné à Flottemanville.Nous avons aussi regretté de ne pas discuter avec vous mais c'est au moment du petit déjeuner que nous échangeons avec nos hôtes.Quant à l'odeur pas très agréable que vous avez pu sentir, il s'agit de fumier que les agriculteurs mettent dans les champs deux fois par an et malheureusement c'était au moment de votre séjour, je suis désolée. Ce sont les désagréments de la vie à la campagne !Espérons que vous avez fait bon retour.
