Florida Keys Scenic Highway Hotels

"This was our first time to the Islamorada area and we were not sure about staying so far 'out of town' as it is about a 15 minute ride to the main area of Islamorada where the primary shopping and entertainment is. That said- we were so happy we chose Lime Tree! The resort was excellent is every way!. Plenty of seating of various kinds over the property (hammocks, reclining beach chairs, chairs with tables) and they were spread out in a comfortable way. The pool was warm (pleasantly, but not too warm) and a nice size. Views were beautiful. Free amenities which we enjoyed. The restaurant was good for drinks and bar food (other than that your driving to town). There is a convenience store across the street for snacks and beverages. Very casual and laid back property. We would absolutely stay here again! There was some road noise at AM 'rush hour' but not so much that we were bothered. We opted for one of the larger single bed rooms for a few more dollars and I think that money was well spent. The room had some silverware, paper towels etc which was helpful. Several people grilled on the property when we were there which we would do next time. Finally, I found the property map, on the Lime Tree web site very helpful to see where rooms were located. Nice place!"

"Room was a good size and had ample space. A bit more seating in the room(other than the bed) would have been great. Patio faced the pool, and was a good covered seating/relaxing destination. Got to love the EARLY morning wake-ups with the local roosters!"
