Located close to Universal Studios, but had to drop off handicapped guest at hotel since I had to drive awhile for parking, but no charge with room key. The line to check in was long and no way to do it online. The front desk brought extra towels to room.

After coming from staying at a Disney property, Cabana Bay Resort was somewhat disappointing. First off, you have to pay extra for every little thing it seems, from parking to pool rafts! The shower barely had any water pressure, and the walls are paper thin, as we listened to our neighbors late at night and early in the morning. Otherwise, the room was clean and the property grounds were nice with the restaurants and pools!

I love this property because it really brings out the kid in me. However, it is overpriced with nothing, NOTHING included in the price. You pay additional for everything and the prices are a bit higher than you need for a property near universal with shuttles. However, it is beautiful, very convenient to Volcano Bay and has some nice on property amenities.
