As an American, I was pleasantly surprised with the location. Having never been to Joaquina beach, this was an unforgettable one. The service was top notch, couldn’t ask for a better location, and everything was super laid back and easy to figure out. Will be coming again!

Great place to stay (directly on the beach)
Posted 13 Mar 2023 on HotelsThe hotel is as almost as close to Joaquina beach as you can get, very friendly staff (we are English speakers with only a little Portuguese) and made us feel welcomed immediately. Very good car park if you have a hire car. No dinner restaurant but no problem, there’s a bar and restaurant directly across from the hotel and a coffee place next to it. You can even order in food from places in Lagoa and there’s a space to eat it. The breakfast is great, even the police come to eat as they say it’s the best in the area. Very good value for money - we had a sea facing room with a balcony - airconditioning was strong and had a fridge in the room, very useful. A key reason we enjoyed our first visit to Florianopolis so much.

Great for Travelers with a limited budget
Posted 29 Oct 2021 on HotelsThe hotel is located on a beach. The hotel's rooms are a throwback to an earlier simple time (still uses metal keys, etc). But the room had free wifi that worked. Friendly helpful staff. The room had a walk out balcony with view of beach. Room prices are very low, great value for the money. Located next door is a restaurant with good food, reasonable prices and located on the beach.
