"We absolutely loved our stay at Camino Real Tikal! We enjoyed the hotel and the lake beach was so beautiful and the water was crystal clear. The staff went above and beyond for us in many ways, always greeting us with a smile and the best attitude. "Special mention to the front desk person Sandy. She really helped me out with flight changes, went above and beyond. The room was nice, sharing one bathroom with 6 people it was quite dirty but once the cleaners came through it was fine. great location and if you aren't there in the morning for breakfast they make a sandwich for you to take with you. "We totally love this place! Staff is super friendly, check in was super quick and the food was amazing. This area is very secluded and quiet. No TVs in room which helped us connect with each other. The only issue we had is that the blankets smelled like mold but they changed them immediately once we asked. We recommend it!"

"La Lancha is an amazing place to stay if you like nature. We enjoyed every minute during our stay. The staff is very accommodating and provides excellent customer service. We enjoyed the sauna (temascal), swam in the lake and the hotel crew helped us coordinate a boat sunset trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday.
