This hotel is the best! We got the family room on the 3rd floor with a view of the plaza. The room is very clean and the entire hotel is very clean and organized well. The reception is efficient and helpful. The hotel has a lot of history and they’ve done a great job to preserve it. We spent the new years there. It is located in the center of everything. Everything is within walking distance. We highly recommend this place. You really have to book it way ahead of time to get the best room. Room 310 and room 206 (good luck)!

The property is very old. It needs a total facelift. It still has old style grandma time outdated wall paper all around the room. It only remodeled the shower and it is so small that you cannot move when you are in it. I am 115 pounds and 5'2". Diameter is about 5ft by 2 feet. Bad air circulation. Bad odor wen we check in. No liquid body soap for shower. only provide a small rounded individual bar soap. Mattresess & bed frames are run down & very old. Furniture are very old like in the 60's and rundown .
the only thing we like this place is the staff and best hotel breakfast!!!

Overall, this is the best hotel we stayed in Italy. Their breakfast was best part of the stay, the staffs were nice and helpful. The rooms were clean, but the furnitures were kind of old. The only part that should avoid was don’t choose the room face to the plaza. There is a bar which has extremely loud live music till 1am, if you would like to sleep early, that would be a nightmare. But we changed to another room later, problem solved.

You can’t beat the location! We walked from the train station to the hotel in about ten minutes and then were a 5-10 minute walk away from the major sites. The hotel is on a beautiful street and is quaint and lovely. The breakfast was good and staff very helpful. The room was a typical size for a European hotel room - so small and modest - but totally fine for a two-night stay for my husband, 13-year old and I. All of the conveniences very close by.

Stayed one night here, everything was ok, except for Marco at the front desk. He was very rude and arrogant about everything I asked for. There was music outside until 1.30am which he told me that that’s what you get for being in the city center.
All the other staff were nice, Shirley in housekeeping and the valet guy.

The staff were helpful and polite, the place was very nice and we could walk to everything. It was also close to many restaurants.
The two drawbacks that we experience were that you had to go up stairs with luggage to get to the elevator, the Hotel is on the 4th floor and if you are older may be difficult to navigate. We were located at the Market Square close to the Duomo and while we were there at least there was loud music starting at about 2000 pm and lasting to about midnight, so sleep was not a possibility if you had to get up early, Overall I greatly enjoyed my stay and would do so again and again the staff were great.
