Posted 8 Mar 2024 on HotelsHotel changed management on March 1, 2024. Per Hotel.com email and my credit company, I paid for the stay but Hotel Lombardi's new front desk lady insisted that I did not pay. I showed her the receipt but she did not want to even take a look.

Value hotel in Florence.
Posted 31 Jan 2024 on HotelsA very short walk from the train station and you arrive at the Hotel Lombardi. First off I loved the old style cage elevator. Very nostalgic. There are 5 steps up to the entrance but after that the elevator "whisks" you to the first floor and the hotel. Check in was very easy and the room was very close to the front desk. The owner is very friendly and and gave us a map with many landmarks marked off for us to see. Room was very comfortable with a nice bed and fridge. Bathroom was a bit small but the shower had very hot water and plenty of pressure. There is shopping just down the street and lots of restaurants close by. OK. Just down the street towards the shopping and restaurant area is a row of trash bins by the street. This can get a bit messy but just ignore it as you walk by and you will be in the restaurant area with any type of cuisine you desire. The Hotel Lombardi is a good value for your hard earned money. Enjoy your stay there.

STAFF ARE SO HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING. Nice breakfast room with great capuccino. Walking distance to all the major attractions

Ideal economic hotel for tourists and travellers.
Posted 25 Jul 2023 on HotelsTypical 2 star hotel for Florence situated on the first floor with lift. It is rum by a very friendly couple, who are welcoming and able toadies tourists. The hotel is a short work from the main station and easy walk into town, or the river to see the sites. The A/C works well, bathrooms are clean, the rooms simple, but comfortable. There is a wide range of shops and places to eat near-by. I is economic place to stay when passing through and I would certainly use it again.
