I stayed 2 night. My travel was interrupted by a serious injury that my wife suffered. I needed a place stay, and I knew nothing about the hospital neighbourhood. I found this hotel inline, and I booked primarily based on walking distance and some guest reviews. This is a small-budget hotel with basic amenities. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There isn’t much in the way of entertainment or dining in the area, but there is a gem of a bistro just around the corner.

We paid €198, not worth that much. Fair value around €70. Small and tight bathroom, tiny shower enclosure— if you are a little big, you will not be able to turn. 2 stars ish at best. Also, you have to leave the room key at the front desk when you go out.

Dear Levislen, we accept opinions, but when you booked you compared our rates with others so how can you establish the "right" value? Concering stars, we have all services for this category. And finally, you have to leave the key here when you go out...what's wrong?? Thanks regards.

Great location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Appreciated dining recommendation to place just down the street that was fantastic! Note the hotel was recommended by the hospital that treated my dislocated elbow. We had no clothes, no meds, no toiletries, and had missed our cruise departure as a result. The hotel helped us with all these issues. Highly recommend!

This hotel felt more like a hostel than a hotel. For $228, the room was very plain, basically the beds, a small TV. There was a ceiling fan, but know way to turn it on. The bathroom was cramped, and the shampoo and body wash were in packets. If I only paid $75 or less, I would have expected this but not for the money we paid.

Dear Client, we are sorry to receive your review. The hotel you define plain is appreciated by most of our clients, of course we do not pretend to fullfill everyone... But really we do not undestand your opinion about price. 1) you booked our quadruple room and not us 2) you booked a quadriple room since we suppose you did not find any other accomodation in Florence in that date 3) how much did you expect to pay a room in Florence in peak season? 4) on that date I saw prices for other hotels in Florence, most of them more than double than our.... sorry but we cannot accept your opinion about 75!!! The room was fine but the towels were mismatched and the soap was cheap and smelled aweful. The front desk is older men and one owns it and he is rude. Not very friendly.

Dear Thomas, really sorry to recieve this review. If the towels were as you describe, we wonder why you did not ask to change them. Concerning the soap, we smile about your complain. About the owner (I do not know if you refer to me or to my partner) it is not clear in which way he was rude, did he make anything to you???? I do not think so....
