I can’t rate this property because I changed my booking to January next year but you do not seem to monitor any changes
I’ve changed my booking between myself and the hotel you need to monitor what’s going on with your organisation you are a shambles money otorientated first and foremost

Great communication and location. Bathroom with unpleasant smell but that might just be the entire city. Can hear everything from neighbors. Old European apartment. You get what you pay for I guess.

Apartment was lovely and big, quiet neighbourhood with lots of local Italians and not many tourists, but a very close walk to central Florence. My partner and I both were really happy with the stay.

We had a lovely stay here! It definitely needed a little updating (it looked a little worn and the shower doors didn't close all the way so there was a substantial puddle after showering). But it was cute and the air-conditioning worked! Plus, it was a convenient walk to every place we wanted to visit!

My son and stayed 4 nights here. It was absolutely wonderful. The location is excellent right in the middle of everything! The Doumo is a quick couple of blocks away. I will definitely stay here again when I come back.

A little hard to find at first but once I followed the exact pin on the welcome message I was able to locate the place. Couldn’t figure out the heater, but the team quickly responded and guided me thru all needed steps to start the heater. Everything else was amazing and smooth.

This apartment is awful and unsafe. The photographs are misleading. It does not have rustic charm, it is just tatty & shabby. Not worth the money paid, regardless of location. Worst and most expensive accommodation in 4 wks of travel in major EU cities.
There are no lights in the living area or bedroom, with the exception of one small LED lamp. There is a metal chequer plate staircase up to the bedroom so this was dangerous with no lighting.
I complained immediately, I was asked to go & check the fuse boxes.
A man then came to check and went to buy 2 standard lamps. One was too tall for the bedroom mezzanine but at least there was light.
The electrics were worrying. So many light switches, few doing anything. Many sockets were loose in the wall, or didn’t work.
Washing machine in the yard, didn’t work.
Unexplained water on the bathroom floor.
Microwave and kettle stacked on a dining chair.
Dirty and damp sofa furnishings.
A large loft opening over the front door with no cover.
Patio doors with poor quality locks.
Walls very thin. Thought someone was downstairs in the kitchen but it was next door moving around.
Booked for 5 nights, stayed 1. Requested a refund for the 4 nights not stayed due the problems. Was ghosted by the contact. Expedia eventually confirmed the refund had been denied by the property. The contact didn’t have the decency to reply themselves.
Don’t book this place, go elsewhere. You will feel cheated.

Posted 4 Jun 2023 on HotelsContact information for check-in was incorrect and I had to contact Hotels.com three weeks and then again, 24 hours before check-in time to get a response. I originally asked for a refund due to nonresponse to several texts, and the fact that Hotels.com could also not successfully connect with the host. Hotels.com would not issue one until they heard back from the host up to 24 hours before my check-in time. Contact was made finally but then on arrival, no keys were in the lockbox. We had specified a late check in with booking and verified with new host contact. Condition of bathroom was poor, shower itself seemed to be a hole in the wall and badly in need of repair. Bed was good, but single pull out was not equal to the bed. At our own cost, we did not stay for our booked duration. Hotels.com would be well-advised to update their vetting process or support their hosts better to deliver service.
