I cannot believe this room was 150 a night. The sheets were clearly not new. They had stains. The door area was flooded. I know there was a hurricane but that passed and they did not even mop up the flooded water at the entry of door. The room smelled moldy and gross. There were stains on the dark out shades that looked to be blood. They had chain locks. There was a dirty sock under the chair. I moved chair to under the handle of door for extra safety and there it was which meant housekeeping did not move the chair. Furniture is worn out. All night long someone messing with my door. Not sure if it was kids that were running around, someone checking doors for free place to stay, or someone coming to rob me. I should have just stayed in my car on I-40. Felt much safer on I-40 but after Helene felt hotel would be safer. I was wrong. The next night I luckily found the Hilton Garden Inn down the road and they had electricity and the room was awesome. Only 30 bucks more and hot breakfast, fresh coffee, and dinner. Again 30 bucks more. I did not make the reservation, My husband did because I had not cell or Internet. If I had seen the price, I would not have booked it given the reviews of hotel and the pictures online. I was right. This hotel the maximum price should not be 55 per room. 150 a night. Give me a break. I have stayed at Air BnBs with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen laundry, etc that were less than 150 a night. 150 a night to me is like super great hotel.

Definitely an old hotel. The room doors are not secure on frame. Had to request a different room. Big gap and bottom of door. Room smells muggy and like cigarettes. The tub was not clean. Housekeeping came in while i was out, and only removed the trash bag. Didn't make beds or clean anything. Guy in front office was nice. Other guest were loud with music, but did quiet down at 10pm

I had to switch rooms 3x. The first room was in the corner in back of building with it looked like crackhead back there I felt unsafe and didn’t go in room, proceeded to another room which was dirty, the bed wasn’t made it was trash on floor, I
Then proceeded to another room which at that time I was over it and tired to get comfortable. I just could not. Remind you I had got off work early that morning like 7am and was an early check in I packed my stuff at 11am and left bc I just didn’t feel comfortable with the place being nasty.

Property definitely showed its age. Room was not as clean as I would have expected. The breakfast provided was a bagged to-go breakfast of granola bars, Capri Sun and fruit cup.

It was fine, what you would expect. It was quiet and no one bothered me. I would stay here again.
