"We ended up staying in a shipping container converted into a room. It was quite small and cramped. The windows were not equipped for wind, and there was constant banging on our windows all night. The place was somewhat hard to find - inadequate instructions. Finally, the place itself feels quite spooky, especially when other people aren’t walking around."

"The property is well appointed and very nicely curated in a beautiful setting. The proprietor is very friendly and extremely helpful. For us it served as a very nice base while we explored the area for a few days. What is not immediately obvious from the photos is that this property is right next door to the owner's house which really limits your privacy somewhat. "We had a great harbor, sea & mountain view from our balconied room. The room, although somewhat small, was very comfortable with very nice decor & comfortable beds. Complimentary coffee/tea & espresso in the lobby was quite a nice feature and the breakfast was over the top excellent! The hotel restaurant was surprisingly quite good as well! A long way from the airport

"Location was great, central in Harstad. Staff was helpful and courteous. Please make note that taxis from the airport are not inexpensive. If you arrive at night, about $80 per person. Recommend coming when bus is still running or making rebtal car arrangements b4 you land."

"What a quaint spot! We loved our stay here, it felt authentic and small but was clean and modern in terms of amenities available. Best nights sleep I had on my trip and breakfast in the morning was delicious! There wasn’t dinner service on our stay due to staffing but we knew ahead of time and picked up some grocery items to have out on the patio tables by the water. Then walked among the small beaches. Just a lovely experience!! Stay here if you’re making your way from Tromso to the lofotens!"
