Good views, BUT…
Posted 21 Sep 2021 on HotelsThe view was “mostly” beautiful and we appreciated the complimentary small bottle of sparkling wine and the bath salts on the hot tub ledge. We had a great hot tub!
HOWEVER, we had a very time finding the Cabanas since Hotels.com, Apple Maps, and Google Map all had it wrong.
We tried communicating with the owner and had a very hard time since she doesn’t speak English. She sent us a pin for the address, so that finally worked.
None of the check-in instructions were in English, and there were no English channels on TV. For non-Spanish speaker like us, this may not be the place for you.
The view was gorgeous from the left side of the cabin, but the right side was blocked by the cabin in front of us. We had the last cabin available (Dulce), which was the last one to be built, so the others may have better views.
The pool was green and had a lot of algae. I wouldn’t swim in it!
The water pressure in the cabana was very low, which impacted the shower and how long it took to fill the hot tub.
It had kitchen utensils since it’s an apartment, but no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or breakfast. Since it was Sunday and markets were closed, we couldn’t take advantage of the kitchen.
The price was much higher than hotels that offer more (shampoo, free breakfast, etc).
For all those reasons, I hesitate to recommend it at this price.

Gracias por su valoración Alissa. Lamentamos que no haya estado a la altura de sus expectativas, lo cual nos resulta desagradable y sorprendente. Respetamos todas las críticas, pero algunas consideramos que son cuanto menos incoherentes.
Comenzaré mi explicación disculpándome por el estado de la piscina, ya que es cierto que el día que ustedes estuvieron alojados, el agua de la piscina estaba turbia y le explico el motivo, ya que "afortunadamente" se trata de un hecho aislado. La piscina la hemos inaugurado a finales de julio. Está situada en lo alto del terreno y la zona que hay alrededor de la piscina está en proceso de ser ajardinada, ya que para instalar la piscina hemos tenido que remover todo el terreno y por lo tanto es cuestión de tiempo que la zona que está alrededor esté verde. Lo que ha ocurrido ese día es que había mucho viento lo que provocó que la tierra que rodea la piscina se haya introducido en el agua dejando un color desagradable. Le podemos asegurar que absolutamente todos los días tratamos el agua, pero ante condiciones climatológicas adversas no podemos hacer nada. Buscaremos una opción para que no vuelva a ocurrir, pero es complicado.
Tenemos la sensación de que nos está haciendo responsables de que Hotels.com y aplicaciones de su smartphone como google Maps no hayan funcionado correctamente, lo cual consideramos injusto, ya que en todo momento han estado atendidos por nosotros tanto por correo como por whatsApp y disponen de la dirección en la confirmación de la reserva.
Es cierto que no dominamos el inglés, en ningún sitio hemos indicado que dominemos el idioma, por lo que la exigencia que usted nos recalca está fuera de lugar. De cualquier forma intentamos dar el mejor servicio posible y hasta ahora nunca hemos tenido problemas con eso.
La información se envía en español, ya que nos encontramos en España, todos los smartphone disponen de traductor, y en pleno siglo XXI todo el mundo dispone de uno, por lo que todos estamos al alcance de la información.
Lo de los canales en inglés, nos parece cuanto menos surrealista, exigir en España canales en inglés no sabemos como calificarlo. Aun así disponen de smart tv en la cabaña la cual tiene innumerables apps gratis y de pago para ver canales en inglés o diferentes idiomas.
Desayuno sí ofrecemos y aun módico precio de 8 euros por persona, otra cosa es que usted lo quisiera gratis.
Disponen al lado del jacuzzi de una cesta con champú, gel y sales de baño.
Aceptamos críticas constructivas, sugerencias y aspectos a mejorar, lo que no aceptamos son mentiras y críticas incoherentes por no calificarlas de absurdas.

Staying in the Cabañas is like living a dream. My husband surprised me for my birthday and it was the most perfect setting for the most romantic and beautiful day! The place is like something out of a story book. The views are incredible and the service is amazing! The restaurant was closed due to Covid but they brought the food to your cabana and that just made it even better! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! It’s a must stay! We are already planning a return visit!
