"A gracious lodge in a spectacular setting. We were welcomed warmly and helped to take our cases to our lodge. The lodge was smallish and basic but in a lovely spot surrounded by wildlife. Food was excellent, and we loved afternoon snacks on the terrace. The

was beautifully sited and quiet. Darius led a very enjoyable and informative sundowner walk. Only a tiny criticism - the service in the restaurant was sometimes very slow. Overall our stay was a delight."

"Stunning place at the edge of the Fish River Canon! Almost everything is great, but there are two issues the Lodge should care about: WIFI: If all the guests are crowded with their devices on the 20m² where you have Wifi reception and then want to make constant WhatsApp calls, then you should urgently think about a better WIFI (preferably also in the rooms)!
