"We had stayed at this hotel before albeit 9 years ago, and were pleased to find that it was almost just as we remembered it. The one change was that the room no longer contained a washer/dryer which was a disappointment. However the guest laundry worked perfectly well if not as conveniently. The rooms are large a well fitted though one or two items of furniture are showing their age just a little. The staff were most helpful and I would like to offer a special word of thanks to the lady on the room servicing team who helped me put our heaviest case on the service lift rather than struggle with it on the stairs. we would not hesitate to use this hotel again. "

"Family of 4 with 2 small children. We enjoyed the large jet tub and separate bedroom/door so that we could sleep in two different areas. Only complaint is the room is hot in the summer months (you have to leave windows open and get bugs, or use two very small fans to cool the rooms). Otherwise, it's within easy walking distance to the center of town/food and just feet away from the lake. Would definitely stay again. "
