"This is a fantastic place to stay. It is only 5 minutes from the funicular in the citta Alta and 2 minutes from the central square. The accomodation is very unique_ almost as if set in the walls. Breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, cheese and ham. The host was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend."

"In a good location. About a 20 minute walk from the train station and bus station. Check in was a little strange with no one to great us and had we not had the kindest of a stranger and their Internet, we would have been unable to download the message from the app with the owners number on it to gain access to the property. We saw noone for the whole of our stay. Room was OK. Downside is none of the plug holes had plugs. "

"Had a perfect experience! A short walk to Citta Alta as well as the center of the lower city. Beatrice was lovely and gave very clear instructions for check in. She had many options for breakfast and even put a new cork in a wine bottle I had bought but hadn't finished. A great place to stay! "

"Overnight stay on our way to Lake Como. Pity it was raining as the castle grounds would have been wonderful to walk around. The host is very pleasant and welcoming. The site is over 2000 years old with additions added during the renaissance, has been been nicely renovated"
