Posted 16 Sep 2023 on HotelsStayed here on way to a reunion in southern France. Had stayed at other hotels and this one was very much better. Unfortunate that the restaurant was closed on Sunday night but not totally unexpected. Staff were helpful.

No AC, breakfast ends by 9:30am, empty tissue box, no soap refill, area feels pretty uncomfortable, no 24/7 front desk…

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room although a bit small. Very clean and comfortable.

Staff were instantly rude as soon as we arrived and rude to our children. We had just travelled for 14 hours and not happy to be treated this way.

The car park spaces are far too small for large cars.
We had a meal in the resturant on Monday 10th June, our first evening. My wife ordered the chicken and chips. She had eaten aporox half her meal when she saw that the chicken was raw/uncooked in the centre. She pointed this out to the waitress, who just picked up the plate and took it away. There was no apology.
On the first morning we went to the dining room for breakfast. There wasn't much choise. The eggs and bacon containers were empty, there were no yogurts or croissants available.
On the morning thst we left, at approximately 6.15, we went to reception and were told by the gentleman, that there was nothing further to pay. I questioned this, several times but was assured that all bills had been settled. When we arrived home, there was an email from the Hotel, which was quite agressive, stating that we had left the Hotel, without going to reception and had failed to settle our bill. The following day I rang the Hotel, where I complaied to the receptionist and paid the outstanding amount. This was the most unpleasant experience I've ever had in dealing with a Hotel.

We thank you for staying in our hotel and we respond to your comment about your stay. You dined at the restaurant and you indicate that the chicken was not cooked. Indeed the guinea fowl supreme is pinkish in visual may be steamed at low temperature so there is no risk. the management was present during your meal and you finished your plate 3/4 without accepting another dish that was proposed to you. Every morning, there are more than 20 products for breakfast. We were 2 at the service of breakfast and if exceptionally it was missing a product and despite our vigilance, a simple request from you would have been enough. We apologize for this odd.
There are 50 parking spaces and 5 out of the way which do not abut any other. Your vehicle could have stayed there easily.
When you arrived you were told what was prepaid. The extras in restoration remaining at your expense. The email that was sent to you asked you to pay what was the same as we would have done with any customer.
We note well your remarks and your experience concerning the restoration, in order to improve every day our services and this in order to satisfy all of our customers staying in our establishment.

Near Limoges but less busy.
Posted 30 Mar 2018 on HotelsThe receptionist was eating when I arrived and handed me the key and room number. When my wife and dog walked through reception he gave them no eye contact and failed to acknowledge them I found his manner rude and disinterested. The room was cramped and had sloping ceilings so one had to crouch to get into bed. There was no lift and we were on the 3rd floor which was not ideal with a dog. The first floor had plenty of rooms vacant.
On the positive there was a kettle although only one tea bag each and one milk. Lots of car park spaces. Nice shower over the bath.
