We booked this property based on the rating and it was a very disappointing experience. Our room was the terrace room (4 flights of stairs). We seemed to be the only guests. We arrived very late at night, so I understand not getting a welcome drink as advertised. However, there was no drinking/bottled water provided either. The room was dusty and the bathroom was terrible. YOU CANNOT CLOSE THE BATHROOM DOOR FROM INSIDE AND LATCH IT. No privacy!!!
The walls were moldy. There were NO BATH TOWELS (only hand towels). No toilet paper holder and the bathroom amenities are packets of Pantene shampoo. The room gets noisy with a banging sound. When talking with the manager the next day, I was told that drinking water would be provided on request only and I had to ask. Amenities like hairdryer is shared and they apparently had a large group the previous night, so all the bath towels were unavailable. The fact that there isn’t a latch on the bathroom (important for privacy) and the walls are moldy and rooms are dusty made us cut our stay short and move to a different hotel immediately.
This review is based solely on our experience with the terrace room (one king bed and one twin bed). The owner will very likely not take this feedback and retort as if everything is fine.
However, having stayed in multiple riads in Morocco, we can confidently say that this was a terrible experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively as the courtyard is nice.

Bonjour,Je suis bien triste de votre réaction.Effectivement, vous êtes arrivés une nuit vers 01.00 a.m et vous étiez les seuls dans le riad.Si je comprends bien, vous dites que la salle de bain était horrible, parce que la porte de salle de bain ne ferme pas à clé. ....J'aimerais bien savoir à quelque endroit les murs sont moisis.Les chambres sont nettoyées après le passage de chaque client. Donc peu de chance qu'elle soit sale, mais bon, admettons un oubli.Une chose est sure, vous êtes arrivés juste après un grand groupe et il y a eu un souci de serviettes de bain.Et je m'en excuse.Mais de là à noter 2, je crois que nous n'avons pas les même valeurs.Regardez simplement les autres commentaires.Effectivement, les sèches cheveux sont à demander à l'accueil. (les vols, cela existe et malheureusement déjà vu)Et je tenais à vous répondre personnellement car les employés et moi faisons le maximum pour améliorer le service proposé.Cordialement

Beautiful courtyard and very tasty breakfast. The room was quiet and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The rooftop terrace provided a lovely view of the surroundings and will be a pleasant place to sit, especially later in the season.

Posted 26 Feb 2024 on HotelsWe had a marvellous peaceful stay. The property is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Our host was extremely gracious and took us (so that we didn’t get lost in the maze of streets) to the most wonderful restaurant. His recommendation was superb and my favourite of the trip. In fact, the food was in my opinion better than a very exclusive restaurant we visited in Marrakesh.

Great stay, just fix that AC
Posted 11 Dec 2023 on HotelsWe enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the AC was not the greatest, and we found sleeping hard due to the heat. The staff were great at lending us their own fan so that we had some air flow to sleep. They were also very accommodating and very helpful.

Merci pour votre commentaire 10/10.Si je ne me trompe pas, vous étiez dans une des 2 chambres en terrasse. Et en plein été, la climatisation tourne beaucoup quand il fait plus de 40C tout les jours.Merci pour votre compréhension.Traditionnellement, les lits marocains sont plutôt fermes. C'est bon pour le dos, mais certaines personnes n'adhèrent à cette habitude. Nous avons choisi des matelas les plus souples dans la gamme des fournisseurs locaux. Nous adaptons progressivement les matelas.

Great location , nice place , clean room, good AC, and hot shower , nice Morocco breakfast , staff is very friendly , Mohamed the manger of the riad was very helpful and friendly , the Riad is about 10 minutes walk to the blue gate, lots of cafe, restaurants and shops near by. I would highly recommend Riad Sheryne to stay in Fes old medina

Simple, clean little road. Wifi often gets disconnected but staff can fix it right away. Every nice staff and great breakfast.
