The hotel was a disappointment as contrary to advertisement in fact did not have air conditioning. It only uses air conditioning part of the year. The air was stagnant, humid and warm. Very disappointing. The rooms and baths we at the same time modern and at the same time drab, I will never be fooled about claims of air conditioning again.
The staff and breakfast were very satisfactory and the hotel had a modern part and a dated part. We were assigned the dated part perhaps because we booked through Expedia.
The Ferrara train station was the worst of all that we traveled through in Italy. This experience left met with little desire to visit the City again.

Location, location, location the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very unique. Oh did I mention location?

Location ideal for access to historic center. Executive room had direct view of castle and square. It was also quite roomy, comfortable bed, with beamed ceiling and skylight. Very clean and appealing. Breakfast tasty with lots of options. Staff helpful and cordial.

It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is located in an amazing location with plenty to see and do. The rooms and hotel are very well appointed and clean.
