Loved location. Everyone was so nice. The lodge had just been sold and was under construction to renovate.

My wife and I enjoyed our one night stay. Was very cozy, great places to sit and watch the waves, and not over crowded. All the staff were very friendly. It is a very old structure, well over 100 years, I think. There some signs of its age, but everything was clean, the bedrooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Enjoyed the large outdoor porch, beautiful sunrise directly ocean view side. Excellent breakfast. Liked how all the open rooms had the doors open and you can look at the different room decor. Thank you for all your help Carlotta, and thank Tina and Eve for your hospitality.

Very quaint spot on Amelia Island. Great staff, fabulous room with a view, friendly guests. Could not have been a better getaway.

The property is well run with a very good breakfast. Unfortunately it rained steadily while we were there so we never made it to the beach. Good parking and convenient to the downtown restaurants. Bit pricey in my opinion but not a bad place to stay.
