"This was our absolute favorite stay in Ireland. The views were just stunning! It is the cutest and coziest little cottage. The bed was comfortable. The little fire stove was perfect for the evenings. The grill was an awesome extra amenity. It was easy drives to Giants Causeway (about an hour) and to the beaches and to the mountain as well. It was the perfect getaway. It’s easy to get groceries at the shop nearby. "

It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Peace Bridge and all the sights of Derry. Restaurants and a small grocery store are within an easy walk. Great value for the price. "

"Not a hotel. This just a room above some businesses.the room was big and comfortable. Getting the code for the door it was tricky, but it was due to changing phone sim cards. We were in downtown Londonderry close to everything. Parking was an issue. Overall a great place would recommend. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this cute house that has everything we could need, a lovely back yard, and a good location. Hazel went above and beyond - we had accidentally thrown away a souvenir ring and she sent it back to us in the US and she did it with no hesitation! "

"Our stay at the Cosy Pod was great, the site has a lovely atmosphere where you can sit round a fire while others around do the same. Would recommend to anyone, also the personal attention from the owner Helina to make sure you enjoy your stay."

"A beautiful setting spoilt by some unseasonal bad weather. Slept very well - felt safe and secure and hut comfortable but would have liked more shelving to put belongings out and had hooks but no coathangers! Would book again."

"The house is even more lovely than the pictures. Spacious, well decorated and kitted out and very clean. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and beds and bedding very comfortable with lots of natural light and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The country kitchen is lovely and spacious and very well kitted out. Kate had very kindly left us delicious home baked scones, butter, milk and even some jam. "We absolutely loved our stay. Location was amazing, the views breath taking and the house simply gorgeous. Our hosts Siobhan and John were such a lovely couple and we loved getting the chance to meet them. They made our stay so relaxed and comfortable we found it so hard to leave. Would definitely recommend this amazing place - easy commute to most places in Northern Ireland. Thank you Siobhan and John and here's hoping our paths cross again...."

Waterfoot Hotel weekend

"Reception check in, housekeeping was very good. Staff in restaurant & Bar were super good. Breakfast & other meals were delicious. We had an excellent stay. Also lady at reception gave us directions to a pathway alongside the Foyle which took us into the City, there is a bus service which stops just before Caw roundabout if you don't fancy the walk back.Hotel is a hidden gem.There is a busy roundabout just before access to the Hotel but the pathway into the city is really pleasant & gives a good walk. There is good access for cars over the Foyle bridge to the City, Letterkenny erc."
