My only concern is that a superior double is nothing more than a standard double just a slightly larger room. No chairs or stool to sit on just a bed, a table with drinks making facilities and a standard bathroom. I would stay again but would ask to see the room first before accepting it as my stay."

Food is always decent albeit pub style grub, restaurant can get busy so worth booking a table, very easy to do on the app. Staff always polite and extremely helpful. Rooms are a good size and always clean and well presented. Bar area is usually pretty busy every evening but has a great atmosphere. "

"I booked here for a stop during our trip to crufts. Was very tidy and nice hotel, the staff were ok the first night but then the second day there was a problem with a payment for car park so we received a note under the door. It was the staff the day before that didn’t process the payment properly. The member of staff called Gemma went above and beyond on the second day she needs to be commended. Thankyou! "

"Business trip as I was at Go Dive working on one of the exhibition stands at the NAEC for the weekend. Check in was quick and easy on the friday evening, room was clean and tidy with no issues. Useful to have the bar and the coffee shop on site for a quick drink in the evenings and a caffeine hit in the mornings. Only small niggle were the windows as there was a real cold breeze blowing in around the frame (reduced by pulling the blinds down) and both nights we had a quite a hard frost....
