Room was dirty and falling apart

This property is really rough. The carpet in our room was so bad, we wore shoes while walking around the hotel room. There were no amenities, not even soap. There is supposed to be breakfast included but "due to covid" they weren't doing any sort of breakfast, not even a grab and go. The ceiling in our room was pealing, there were piles of trash all around the grounds, and most of the other guests were very questionable. Front desk staff was friendly but man, they do not have much to work with there.

Couldn’t get into my 1st room, 2nd room shower faucet came off and all rooms were horrible but because I couldn’t get a refund I dealt with it. Finally just didn’t feel comfortable in my 3rd room at this point and left at 3 am

The room was utterly disgusting, carpet packed with dirt, dead bug in sight on floor, AC unit cover broken off and hanging, dresser drawer broken and hanging, tissue box cover over sink surrounded by MOLD, more mold on wall below sink, concrete steps falling apart getting to the second level, Long abandoned car on flat tires in lot.
We got out of there and stayed across the street for over twice the price, best money we ever spent!

Posted 20 Aug 2021 on HotelsIt was HORRIBLE. got switched rooms 3 times and each time it was no better. No towels. No tissue. Holes in the wall. No working shower. No shower curtain. Smelled of smoke even tho I asked for a non smoking room. Didn’t get the room I RESERVED. All around horrible!!!

Lobby was dirty. a lot of rooms were not cleaned and made up. My bed was at least made up. However, I had no towels, shampoo, soap, refrigerator ( which I was told it had when I booked it ), bulbs were missing it lights and there was no phone. Kids running around outside making a lot of noise and I found a knife laying by my truck. I didnt trust my bed and slept on top of it and cancelled my next 2 nights. I called the main service number for Motel 6 and reported it and asked for my money back. They came back to me and said the local manager would have to do that and I should hear from them, BUT I HAVE NOT HEARD A THING !!!!

I reserved the hotel for tonight. They gave me the room and there was someone in there. I informed motel 6 and they told me that they sold out. They told me to go and find another hotel. It was middle of the night! I have to stay in gas station since all hotels around are also sold out. This is so disrespectful and frustrating. After that i called expedia and waited 35 minutes. I explained everything to lady she said she will transfer me and i specifically asked her to call me if we disconnected. Of course she turn off the phone and never called me. It is easy solution for expedia. I drove more than 8 hours and had to stay in gas station. I will never use expedia.

Doors with huge gaps in door way rough looking people that watched me the entire time I was in out my room like. Looked like something out of a Bad Gangster movie I got a refund
