We had the best time staying at Lamothe House Hotel! The location was perfect—everything we wanted to do in New Orleans was just a short walk away. Our room was beautiful, and the pool was such a great spot to chill after a day out. The staff were all super friendly and made us feel right at home. Seriously, the hospitality was top-notch. Can’t wait to come back!

This is our 3rd time staying here and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It has New Orleans charm and is in the perfect location. We love the pool to be able to cool off in the afternoon heat. The staff is also so nice and welcoming. We arrived at 11am expecting to just drop off our bags, but our rooms were ready and they let us check in! The cons are that there were never any towels at the pool, even when we asked they never arrived. The only other major con was that our room this time had one outlet and the bedside lamps were plugged into it. There is a coffee maker, but the only other outlet was in the bathroom. However, there was always hot coffee in the lobby. These are more so things for us to note for next time!

When I got there there was a black out in the neighborhood. The person on duty took me to my completely dark room (no AC, no ventilation) and left me there. I asked for a flashlight or a candle and he said he didn't have one.
A lot of the time I was there there was no one at the front desk and someone answered at a different location.
The WiFi never worked.
A depressing place. It used to be nice but not any more. Not at all.

The hotel staff were nice. The room was clean. There was no place to hang articles of clothing in the room and that was disappointing. The neighborhood in general has many rundown properties, but of course the hotel staff cannot help that.

The stay here was very nice. Room was small, but clean. Bed was very comfortable to sleep on, pillows deflate a bit but we got a decent nights sleep. Only complaints I have is; there was only one plug in the room and one in the bathroom. So to plug in our phones and Apple Watches we had to unplug the coffee machine and use those plaits and the ones in the bathroom. Which I didn’t particularly like vacationing w/out the kids I like to have my phone by the bed incase anyone calls. Second is we had absolutely no hot water so we had to take cold showers both days. Other than that the stay was great, staff is super friendly, location to the popular places was a quick walk away and property seemed safe for the few days we stayed we had no issues with people roaming in/though their area.
